Hey there!
I'm a designer and developer focused on creating products with clients and collaborators who are passionate about making a positive impact in the world.
I have over 12 years of experience in the software industry including 8 years as a designer. I started out in front end development, but - wanting to connect more with my passion in visual design - retrained in graphic design and eventually digital product design and entrepreneurship. I lean on my broad, interdisciplinary experience to create user-friendly, visually engaging, and commercially successful products.
I have degrees in Media Technology (B.Sc.), Graphic Design (B.A.) and Product Design (M.A.), so I'm equipped to tackle challenges from a variety of angles.
Having worked with a wide range of companies and clients, I'm highly adaptable and able to view things strategically as well as get hands-on with design and development work. I've designed and built products for web, mobile, and print from discovery to launch. If you need a designer who understands code and the end-to-end product process, let's have a chat!
In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, learning languages, traveling, and drawing. I like to think of myself as a bit of a Moomin.

I'm curious
I actively seek to engage and understand the world and people around me. In my design practice this means being attentive to user needs, business needs and constraints, and also team members and project stakeholders.
I empower others
I make things that help clients and users improve their lives. I raise the bar in internal communications and processes with radical candor, mentoring and support.
I'm flexible
What works in one context might not work in another. I know when to lean on convention and when to break the mold.
I focus on what matters
I ask: What's Important Now? I don't overthink, overcomplicate or overdesign things.
